Why We Created Handmarks

As founders of Handmarks we all have a passion for direct sales. Each of us have spent our careers in direct sales and started as part-time representatives and became top leaders in the field. We have corporate experience as executives in other direct sales party plan companies.

After years of experience of learning every aspect of running a direct sales company we felt compelled to take our combined experiences, skills, passion for the consultants and our common beliefs to create a company built for the consultant. We wanted a company that you could believe in, with a product that had purpose and meaning.

Pam Lavoie

Co-Founder & Director of Product Development

I’m a wife, mom, and nana and have supported my family through direct sales since 1983. Starting at Consultant level and climbing to Diamond Sales Director level, I have experienced it all. My priorities are God, family, others, and then myself. I’m ready and excited to take this amazing journey together with all of you!

Over the last twenty-two years I’ve been an executive for two of the largest direct sales software developers, a business consultant, a member of the Direct Selling Association and President and CEO for two party plan companies. It was natural to put those years of experience and passion for this industry together to help create Handmarks.

After spending more than 35 years in Party Plan, from building a team in the field to holding executive corporate positions, I was so excited when the opportunity to open the doors to Handmarks came to fruition. I’m thrilled to partner with like-minded people that have the same vision to create a company around the needs of the field. It’s great to be a part of that for others.

Kim Reader

I started full-time in Direct Sales in 1976 at the age of 18. I worked my way through the ranks from Consultant to National Sales Director. I’ve also had the pleasure of working as a Field Development Leader for several start-up companies and loved every minute of it.
